The project is designed to enhance each university’s research and educational programs relating to the development of model health care systems and effective methods for improving population health. It has a particular focus on theories to analyze the effects of social interventions, educational programs targeting population behavior change, and public policies to protect and promote health. The project will advance research and teaching on global health issues through the exchange of ideas among faculty, the joint development of new courses and programs of study, and new collaborative research projects. In addition to new courses offerings, project outcomes include the creation of a new diploma specialization in public health administration at Novgorod State University (NovSU) and a new dual degree (post)-graduate exchange program in Global Health.
